Job description:
Acts as a liaison between the Returning Officer and the polling day poll officials. Supervises two to three voting locations on polling day. All tasks will be done manually and using paper forms and lists. Travelling between voting locations is a requirement of the job and mileage is paid. Requires a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle and cell phone. Must be available to work 13 hours on Election Day.
Responsibilities include:
• Attending a training session.
• Contacting poll officials to ensure team is available to work on the prescribed days.
• Arriving at assigned voting locations and ensuring polls are set up and open on time, ensuring staffing resources, supplies and poll layout conforms with Elections Ontario standards.
• Solving any issues as they arise.
• Ensuring results are called into the returning office.
• Assisting the DRO with the Ballot Statement of the Poll forms after the closing of the polls.
• Ensuring all materials are returned in the prescribed manner.

Job description:
Assists eligible electors in the voting process. All tasks will be done manually and using paper forms. Must be available to work 13 hours on Election Day.
Responsibilities include:
• Attending a training session.
• Arriving at assigned voting location and ensuring the poll is set up and open on time, ensuring staffing resources, supplies and poll layout conforms with Elections Ontario standards.
• Notifying the Area Manager of individuals who did not show up for work, any services that are disrupted, incidents that occur or complaints that are made at the polls.

• Assisting electors with disabilities, if required.
