Group Discussion

Group Discussion was organized on 20th July 2016 for higher secondary section of our school. The subject for GroupDiscussion was “Shopping Malls and Local Markets”.Students have discussed many points like:Advantages of big malls that is so widespread all over the world. First of all, the advantage of shopping center is convenience. We come to the mall and can buy everything we want beginning with food and finishing with clothes or electronics. We cansafely assume that it is very important and easy for people who have little time. Secondly, shopping centers have manyentertainment and relaxation. There are many amusements for little children, like various game zones, toys and other fun. Orif you are so tired of shopping you may have some kind of relaxation like massage, cup of coffee in the comfortable cafe. Ina mall you spend many hours without being bored. Also malls become a place of social life of many teenagers.Advantages of local shops are if they are situated in nearby places and if you forget to buy something you always can walk inthis local one. Another thing is that the products that you buy in little shops are usually fresh and non-damaged because theproduction in these shops is supplied every day and you always know that you buy good food. And finally, nowadays as weall know, many big supermarkets are closed on free days and it is very uncomfortable for people who work a lot and have onlytime to shop on rest day. Local shops work all week without keeping off and can always help you to solve this problem. In conclusion, supermarkets cater to the needs of their customers and also abide by their social responsibilities. Overall, it canbe considered a positive development and it is predicted that more of these stores will open in future.
