According to a 2015 report, over 85% of all Americans of voting age are in favor of shared

parenting.

The purpose of this letter is not to ask you to take action. The purpose of this letter is not to ask

you to explain to me how and at what level reform begins. The purpose of this letter is not to

complain about the system or ask for help in a personal matter.

The purpose of this letter is to ask you for a simple and straight forward “yes” or “no” answer to

this question:

Do you support the fact that presumed 50-50 shared physical custody of a child is in the

child’s best interest?

The American people have a right to know the position of those they elect. The results of this

campaign will be published for the general public with a simple gauge of yes, no, did not reply,

or insufficient response.
