BIOGRAPHY:She was born on 11 February 1922

She attended the elementary school and High School in Šmarje pri Jelšah, and she graduated at the Faculty of Arts in 1948.

She died on 20 November 2001 in Ljubljana

WORK:She was a journalist for children and teenage magazinesGEA, Ciciban and Mladi svet (Young world).

She was the school radio editor at the national TV (RTV Slovenija).

When she retired she started writing stories for children.

LANGUAGES:Her books have been translated intomany world languages (German, Italian,Finnish, French, Hungarian, Polish, Czech,Slovakian and others).
