HCR

High Consistency Rubber extends the applica-

tion fi elds of silicone. As compound in a fi xed

form, it can deal with many customer

individual requirements in material and colour

even by small quantities. Similar to LRS,

Böllhoff processes HCR by injection moulding.

Instead of a dosing system, a stuffi ng device or

strip feeder is used to insert the material in the

tool system. Due to its composition, HCR

has a better quality concerning tensile strength,

elasticity, distention and tear-growth resistance.

LSR

Due to its characteristics, the range of applica-

tions for LSR (= Liquid silicon rubber) is huge.

As viscous A+B component fed to the machine,

the material becomes thin fl uid through the

injection moulding process. An exact mixture

of components in conjunction with a optimally

matched needle injection mold give your idea a

lasting form. Characteristic for this material is a

high resistance to chemicals, a low compression

set and excellent mechanical properties.

The wide temperature range makes LSR nearly

an all-rounder in form and function.

According to the demands on the product, we apply the most suitable

material for your application. Our close cooperation with leading

raw material producers continuously opens new perspectives.

RUBBER

The application fi eld of special rubber com-

pounds, e.g. EPDM, ACM, AEM, FKM and FFKM,

ranges from plain o-rings for everyday use up

to complex sealings used in space shuttles.

The compounds are produced in separate

production lines by exact specifi cations. In form

of strips, cable rolls or feed strips, the material

is stored temperature-stable until the fi nal use

in production. Special feeding systems for each

form provide a fully automated production in high

quality and large quantities. After the vulcanizing

process, the components fulfi ll requirements of

the automotive and general industry. Sealing and

damping elements made out of rubber guarantee

you the functionality for the whole lifetime of use.
