State of the art
The BDI project has been launched in february 2001 The National Committee has been nominated
including representatives from Universities, Regions and main State libraries
Some working groups have been established: metadata, serials, training
First initiative was the project for digitizing the historical libraries catalogues
Other initiatives will be planned according to the reccomandations of the EU

Set up the national Directory according to the EU “national policy profile”
Benchmarking again according to the EU instructions
