2017 Students to Grades. The 2017 student placements to new grades will be commencing soon. If you have specific information in regard to peers whom your child should not be placed with in 2017, then please write to Jan Rollinson (Principal). Requests will be received from Monday October 10th until Friday October 21st. Any requests after this date will not be accepted. Please note that we cannot accommodate requests for specific teachers. While we appreciate you may feel that your child should be with a specific friend, teachers have the professional knowledge in regard to how friendship dynamics play out within a classroom. Student’s personal / friendship relationships do not always mean the relationship is good for learning, therefore, we ask parents only to submit requests for peers your child should not be placed with. This year we will be using a software program to generate classes. Parameters will be placed into the system that include – teacher recommendations, reasonable parent requests, appropriate student requests and additional information from the admin-istration team including any students on the PSD program. Regards, Jan Rollinson Grade 6 tops 2017 Sample tops will be available to try on tomorrow, Friday 7th October in the Melaluka building.—morning—from 8:30 and after-noon from 3:30.
