Contemporary Art Gallery I and II – August 16 – October 10, 2010 This exhibition features contemporary artists with ties to the Mexican-American experience. Many of these artists deal with issues of identity in a social-political context. Immigration has become a poignant issue that often evokes a polemic discourse. Artists are not shying away from this conversation and many of the artworks featured in this exhibition deal with notions of borders and boundaries.TRANSCRIPT
