English as a Second Language (ESL)

DESCRIPTION DESCRIPCIÓN

ESL classes are divided into various levels: Introduction followed by levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. We will also be continuing our Conversation class and the new tutoring program, The Corner.

ADVANCED CONVERSATION

These classes are for students in level 3 and above who want to focus on improving oral communication and survival English skills. Classes will also be more flexible in structure to facilitate discussion.

Las clases de inglés se dividen entre varios niveles: Introducción, seguida por los niveles 1, 2, 3 y 4. Las clases de Conversación y el nuevo programa tutorial, La Esquina, estarán también disponibles.

CONVERSACIÓN AVANZADO

ESL classes are designed to help non‐English speakers develop communication skills, English grammar knowledge, vocabulary and writing proficiency.

This comprehensive 15‐week‐long course covers all topics within the ESL level. Upon completion, students who pass the final exam will be promoted to the next ESL level.

This program is designed to teach children the important components of literacy and the various literary elements such as plot, characterization, setting, conflicts and resolution. With engaging activities like trips to the library, literary scavenger hunts, character analysis, posters and performances, this program aims at bringing the joy and livelihood of reading to each participant.

This program is designed for children ages 6‐14. This program is offered to provide children with a positive and safe environment to associate with their peers. Parents must be registered students and must remain on campus in order for their children to partake in this program. Parents have the option of attending exercise, computer or ESL classes.

Computer classes

Computer Literacy classes teach students the computer skills needed to enhance their academic careers, jobs and personal goals. Students can also practice their skills during open lab hours.
