Downloading anything for free books, movies, music that isn't in the public domain is illegal. Your ownconscience will keep you away from it. Nothing I or anyone else can say will keep you from doing it.Remember, when an author writes a story, he/she is making a living from his/her own imagination andskill. When you bypass right and download what you have no right to download for free, you actually harmsomeone else. Keeping that in mind may make you think twice before you do it. Far better to borrow abook from a library or a friend...

You might ask yourself: "How would I feel if someone invaded my property and took something thatbelongs solely to me? How would I feel if they explain to me that X told them that it was okay if they tookwhat was mine, because 1I have more money than they do, 2it's not harming you, 3other people do it, 4it's out there and they don't have the money to buy it themselves? It wouldn't be a nice feeling!

As I said, it's your conscience that must stop you from doing wrong...that's what God put it there to do!

Libraries are wonderful places to go. That's my suggestion in answer to the question "How can I keep myself awayfrom there?" which was a good one. Away from there is good. Go to libraries, they have a wide array of things toread, watch, listen to...even computers to use. And a reference librarian who can answer questions of all kinds at amoment's notice, as they are trained to do.Tamerdont
