2. Innovation Story

The Innovation Story should provide in an appealing way the information about your

achievement and how you reached it. It has to cover the following elements, you are free

to choose the order you want.

2.1. What is the history of your achievement? How did the idea arise, what steps did you take to make it happen? (max. 300 words)

2.2. Describe in depth your achievement including its most important features. (max. 300 words)

2.3. Describe the (potential) societal and/or economic impact of your achievement in the light of the scope and strategic objectives of the nominating KIC. (max. 500 words)

2.4. Explain why your achievement is innovative, intrapreneurial and/or entrepreneurial. (max. 500 words)

2.5. Explain how the EIT labelled education programme has supported and facilitated you in conceiving, elaborating and/or implementing your achievement. (max. 500 words)

2.6. One of the criteria used by the final jury will be “Degree of thinking outside boundaries and (systematic) exploration and generation of new ideas”. Illustrate that and how you met this criterion. (max. 300 words)

3. Annexes

3.1. Copy of the applicant’s University diploma and the EIT labelled degree/certificate, or confirmation (declaration of honour) from the KIC Education Director. If not yet handed out: a confirmation by the KIC Education Director that the nominee will receive a diploma and the EIT labelled degree prior to the Award event.
