Kulmbach, March 2015. Dimplex gets started at ISH 2015 – namely with system. In the ventilation section, Dimplex is presenting its new air distribution system Air 56: exactly what installers need to provide perfect indoor air quality in new and existing buildings. The key components of the system are flexible and stable ventilation pipes with new diameter of 56 millimetres. Sounds unspectacular? But is the reinvention of the ventilation system. Among other things Dimplex has managed to reduce the number of major components to only eight with the Air 56 system for the very first time. This simplifies the ordering procedure enormously; additionally Dimplex offers a unique costing calculation, including design support. And thanks to an innovative plug-in connection process, the Air 56 is quicker and easier to install than ever before.

Simply in-house developed. Simply more flexible.The key feature of this revolutionary air distribution system is our newly designed round and flexible plastic ventilation pipe with a diameter of only 56 millimetres. So far this dimension is unique in the marketplace: as flexible as a classical circular pipe but as stable as an oval pipe. In renovations, Air 56 can be installed in suspended ceilings. In new builds the new pipes fit not only in the concrete layer but also in the damp course or the screed: this is due to its minimal height of max. 60 mm. Its double layer construction guarantees maximum stability: The outer pipe can withstand even heavy loadings on the building site. The inner pipe is extremely adaptable and hugs the outer pipe, so that the cross-section is not constricted and therefore always well flooded, even in tight bends. Moreover, the material – which was developed by the plastics experts at Dimplex – is food-safe and therefore guarantees optimal air quality and hygiene. The air distribution system suits to connect to a central ventilation system, as for example the Dimplex ZL 155, as well as to decentral ventilation systems with side room connection like DL 50 W and DL 50 Q2.

Since the ventilation pipes can bend in all directions, additional elbows are no longer required. Upwards, sideways, round the corner: Air 56 will do whatever is required; no extra components are required for changing direction and this simplifies ordering and stock-keeping for installers.

However, the best aspect is assembly: as simple as Lego. Protective cap off, plug in pipe into air housing, the hose clip will fix automatically, ready. This timesaving on the building site gives installers more time and space to perform other jobs.

Simply more transparent calculation.Dimplex also makes it as simple as possible when it comes to planning and pricing: with only basic information about the building (floor area, floor plans, details of room usage and sectional drawings) the Dimplex design team will assemble the necessary components and determines the price: calculated in 20-m² increments and with fixed package prices. Dimplex draws up a detailed parts list for each individual item. This includes everything required for installing the air distribution system in the respective location – right through from the pipes, via the air distributor, to the seal caps. For the installers this means: maximum transparency and security in calculation.

Simply free follow-up deliveries.Because of the drastic reduction in the number of components, it is much easier for installers to see what they are unpacking so they can start assembling straight away! If any last-minute changes need to be made during the building phase, Dimplex will send follow-up deliveries without delay and free of charge. Installers only need to pay if the follow-up delivery takes them into the next 20-m² increment. Simply more service: we will honour this promise.
