We are eight&foureight&four was founded by Kate Ross and Amy McCulloch in November 2008 as a 360 degree digital marketing consultancy; specialising in web design and development, search engine marketing, email marketing and social media strategy services. Our aim is to provide innovative, strategic platform and internet marketing solutions that will help you fully realise your business’ online potential.
We have grown to an award-winning 8 person digital agency based in Soho – with a very impressive portfolio – showcasing a range of creative, technical and strategic ability.
Amy McCullochAmy is the co-founder of eight&four, and is our Marketing Director, overseeing all operations and output at the agency. With 6 years experience in Digital Marketing, and a Professional Diploma in Marketing, she ensures every one of our projects is rolled out effectively and to the very highest professional standards.
Kate RossKate is the co-founder of eight&four, and is our Commercial Director, heading up all new business for the agency. Kate has been working in digital marketing for 6 years, ever since beginning a Digital Marketing graduate scheme with Reed Elsevier in 2006. She is a regular on the speaking circuit – speaking nationwide about the latest digital trends.

We are eight&four
Charlie MittonCharlie studied Public Relations at The University of the Arts, London whilst assisting at an international branding agency – working on heavily creative projects for brands such as Pepsi Co, Kraft and Batiste. Since working as an assistant to the Creative Director at US fashion magazine Nylon, she pursues concept development, strategy and creative brainstorming.
Graham MonaghanGraham is our Digital Designer, and studied Media Practice and Theory at The University of Sussex specialising in digital media and its effects on consumers. He went on to study Graphic Design at Shillington Design College in Manchester after University. He loves all things typographic, textured and digital, and spends most of his free time on design blogs looking out for the next big design trend.
Anna JoyceAnna has been working in Digital Marketing Account Management for 4 years. At her previous agency she spent 2 years managing global brands including Oracle, Dell and The Linde Group. Heading up the eight&four Accounts team for over 2 years now, Anna has managed our largest clients including The Lords’ Taverners, Wandsworth Council and Woman Care Global with an unmatched efficiency and commitment.
Stuart WilsonStuart is our Junior developer, working with John to ensure high quality technical output across the board at eight&four. A creative and interface focused developer, Stuart graduated with a First Class degree in Media Technology. Like John, he fully embraces HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and mobile app technologies.
John PrzeslakowskiJohn is our Lead Developer, and has been developing for over 8 years, after graduating with a degree in New Media & Graphic Design. He is a WordPress and email deliverability expert, who has worked with individual and corporate clients on a wide range of projects across Europe. John is passionate about building with the latest technologies, and embraces HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design for mobile.
Jessica BaileyJessica heads up Search & Social, strategising and implementing SEO, PPC and social media campaigns for our clients. Her social media expertise has led her to be nominated for both PayPal’s E-Tail Award for ‘Best Use of Social Media’ and Some Comms Award for ‘Best Use of Social Media by a Private Sector Organisation’.

• Encourage target markets to visit Talking Point – evidenced by increased numbers of guest users and site visits
• Encourage target markets to actively participate – evidenced by increased number of member registrations
What We Did• Identified key target markets to approach, and understood their
obstacles to entry
• Create new positioning statement
• New, fully optimised landing pages with targeted funnelling
• Creation of the ‘March Mission’ campaign – which was rolled out across the website, Twitter, Facebook and email programs
• Extensive PPC search and image ad campaign to drive traffic to the new landing pages
The Results• Twitter and Facebook promotion
received four times the average response rate
• March 2012 saw Talking Point’s biggest new user growth rate in a single month to date, year-on-year active user increase of 225%

Case study twoForces Cars DirectForces Cars Direct is an automotive company based in Lincolnshire, selling automotives to the military industry.
What they wanted• We were tasked with developing a marketing communications
plan to increase enquiries from the website, and raise awareness of the company within a saturated market
What We Did• Full digital audit of their competitors and Analytics reports to
understand why leads had reduced over the last 12 months, and in particular where key traffic streams had depreciated
• Design and copy improvements website to improve User experience, and installation of Conversion Goals in Analytics to allow us to properly track conversions onsite, and thus create a continually optimised campaign
• Set up of comprehensive new PPC campaign to target Users in different geographical regions, across their different services, with A/B split testing of landing pages – launching next month
• Social media strategy support – created new social media content plan, and for 4 weeks sent weekly social media content suggestions to client to improve usage of Facebook
The Results• Increased engagement rate on social media
from 25% to 77%
• Raised ‘Reach’ figures from ‘3 people talking about this’ to ‘473’ people talking about this’
• Raised Viral reach from 166 to 22,275
• Weekly reach during competition campaign span peaked at 220, 078
• Facebook has become the 3rd biggest referrer of traffic to the website
