Mission OVERVIEW:In February 2018, Fibrant LLC ceased operations through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. The chemical manufacturing plant, which was built in 1966, employed 700 workers at peak employ-ment as DSM Chemicals North America. For 50 years the site was used by multiple companies to manufacture “caprolactam” and other special-ty chemical products. Caprolactam is the main ingredient of nylon 6, a synthetic polymer used to make products such as carpet fibers, fishing line, apparel and certain types of plastic. The facility is located in an industrial corridor located in southeast Augusta. With easy access to highways, air-ports, heavy power, and rail, it is located within 10 minutes of Augusta Regional-Bush Airport.

Mission execution and DETAILS:IARG is planning a robust schedule of sales events that will occur throughout the 2020 calendar year. The program will be an 8-event liquidation program designed to liquidate the assets there on site!. Starting in April 2020, we will be launching a liquidation event called “OPERATION FIBRANT 2020”, starting with Fibrant’s enormous inven-tory of surplus industrial trucks and mobile equipment.
