Echoing Hills Village began ministering to “the least of these.”

To us, the “least of these” were people with disabilities. People who had difficulty walking, talking or feeding themselves, who were sight impaired, hearing impaired or had difficulty learning. All were marginalized by society, hidden in back rooms, large institutions or simply ignored as if they did not exist. They are God’s creation, people He loved and cared for - not just during his 33 years of life on this earth - but for eternity, and they are people he has called us to serve.

For the hungry, we have provided 49 years of wholesome and healthy meals. For the thirsty, we have ensured clean, clear water for drinking. For the homeless, we’ve built a place to belong and a bed to sleep in. For the naked, we’ve supplied clothing and dignity. For the sick, we have pioneered new treatment and offered comfort. For the prisoner, we have provided freedom from shame and stigma, bringing them into the open.

But more important than all of these earthly necessities, we have brought a message of salvation and eternal life - a place where God Himself will wipe away every tear, from hunger, sickness, loneliness, pain, rejection, or embarrassment, and will welcome all of us into our eternal homes with Him.

We are excited to celebrate another year of serving “the least of these” and we celebrate all of those who have helped to make it possible.
