GeographyThe relative locations: Egypt is in the continent of Africa, it’s near the North Atlantic ocean, Red Sea

and Mediterranean Sea.

Archaeology/History

- One of the great artifacts in Egypt is the pyramids there are 100-135 pyramids left in the

world.- Another one is a Sphinx. A creature with a lion

body and a head of a lion. Its 240 meters long and 66 feet high.

- Canonic Coffin. Encased in the canapé shrine of king Tutankhamen were four solid miniature

replicas of his middle coffin which preserved his embalmed Organs

History 2700 B.C. The first pyramid was built was the “Step

Pyramid. T was made by building “steps’’ (layer of stone)

1600 B.C. A Pharaoh named Ahmose from 1525 till around 1550. Ahmose threw Hykson out of Egypt to rule all of Egypt.

About 2200 B.C. The government in ancient Egypt collapsed and many fought to be the rulers of Egypt, there was many rulers for many years.

3100 B.C. Heroglyphic was one of the first scripts there use to be in Egypt. For 3500 they used it to record important things.

Early settlers began to settle in the Nille valley around 7000 B.C. they farmed, kept animals and built permant homes on the Nille banks.

The type of government that Egypt is Republic, The force in Egypt is military force about 450,000 people

serve in Egypt’s armed forces.The education system in Egypt is just like ours, except

they call preschool kindergarten. The social system in Egypt: 40 percent live under the

poverty line, this means they don’t get welfare because of the lack of inspiring leadership or doctrine for the

revolution. People who show leadership and doctrine for the revolution get welfare if they are on there own.

The health care system is better is a lot of than the USA. They get the same kind of medical care like ours except

they can pay for private care.

EconomicsThe type of money that Egypt use is called

Egyptian pound. They tax everybody the same.

The Egyptians trade with US, China, Italy, Germany and Saudi.

The natural resources of Egypt are oil, gas and bee’s. Oil draw huge annual revenues from its

export profits. They use the bees honey and wax for medicine. They have 3.5 million barrel

reserved.There are few banks in Egypt.
