Responsibilities

I am in charge of the practices of local government, trade, and religion. I amconsidered a god by everyone in my kingdomand all things belong to me. A large part of farmers crops are given to me as taxes. Themeat, eggs, fruits, and olive oil are used to feedmy family and servants. Surplus is used topay for other items I want.

Housing

I live in a palace with many servants. They are thereto please my every need. Loyal members of this groupare chosen to serve close to my family and make their life one of ease and leisure. I depend on them to carryout my commands and serve me as I require.

Dress

My clothes are made of the finest cloth that I can find. Servants keep them in perfect order so they can dress me for any occasion. I have fine jewelry that is crafted in my kingdom. Some pieces have been given to me as gifts from other regions. My appearance is fitting the important position I hold in society.

Burial

I am a child of the sun god Ra who gives life to all the earth. Egyptians worship me all my life in this world. After my death, I will continue to live in the “Next World.”My servants will mummify my body and bury me in a magnificent tomb called apyramid.

If I were alive in the year 2000 A.D., I could be compared to the president of the United States, Bill Clinton.
