Cohesive Professional Brand IdentityGoal: Development of a unified brand identity across multiple platforms and media.

Role: Brand Strategist

Details: Client consults on the topic of happiness with the media, global corporations, government and community organizations. As her profile, product offerings, and reach has grown the development of a current and unified Brand Strategy was important.

Her brand was overhauled from independent consulting to professional B2B and B2C firm with a professional image that embodies her message of empowerment, resilience, contentment, and bliss. The project included the design of a logo, business cards, handouts, PowerPoint template, and website updates.

PowerPoint Master TemplateGoal: Development a master PowerPoint Template for all presentations that worked with the rest of the assets.

Role: Brand Strategist

Details: To create a cohesive look, maintain a professional appearance, and reduce technical issues, the client was moved over to PowerPoint from Keynote for presentations. A Master Template was developed along with a design language, and a brand style guide. All current presentations were built in the new format to enable easy use in any future presentation.

Her brand was overhauled from independent consulting to professional B2B and B2C firm with a professional image that embodies her message of empowerment, resilience, contentment, and bliss. The project included the design of a logo, business cards, handouts, PowerPoint template, and website updates.

Marketing CollateralsGoal: Expanded brand recognition and increase exhibit attendance at shows through new marketing collaterals.

Role: Marketing Strategist and Sales Consultant

Details: Provided national artist and performer with ongoing marketing, business, and graphic design support as needed to develop and initiating on-line and off-line marketing strategies.

The project included the design of a logo, business cards, event flyers, social media banner and quarter page catalog print advertisement.

Goal: Create a compelling information graphic for annual Private Equity publication to enhance data communication.

Role: Freelance Production Designer

Details: The Managing Director and author of the reports is focused on the content. Publication graphics are generally limited to standard charts and graphs with text. This infographic was developed from text without any imagery or other additional formatting to add more visual interest and demonstrated the power of information graphics

Goal: Create a unified design style for all email communications.

Role: Freelance Production Designer

Details: Six different types of email marketing campaigns sent out throughout the year. Master templates designed and built for each kind of campaign with a updated look, unified style and responsive design. Some templates also included custom graphic artwork as represented in two of these three samples.

Company has moved major publications into similar styling.

Goal: Design quick reference best practice guides for frequent staff activities.

Role: Freelance Production Designer

Details: Small company with team members wearing different hats, resulting in documents with lots of variations. To support consistency best practice guides were developed to enable expectation transparency and act as a quick reference guide for doing things that happen only once a month or less.

The guides act as a supplement to the Brand Style Guide.

Goal: Design a universal employee performance review from to be used company wide.

Role: Recruiting Manager

Details: Company had informal review process and details. As the Recruiting Manager, I suggested providing staff with a year end performance review to enhance the current ongoing feedback they received.

Working closely with HR and the Vice President, we insured this formal evaluation could be applied company wide for staff at any level. The review form enabling staff to know their strengths and weaknesses as seen by management, information could be aired, amply discussed, and ultimately enabled transparency to insure performance knowledge.

Goal: Design a report for management review that shows all the tracked performance variables.

Role: Market Researcher

Details: The clear, easy-to-read Excel spreadsheet was designed to justify the group’s activities to upper management using factual, quantitative data consisting of hundreds of key data points that measured the teams. The document was printed on tabloid 11” x 17” and every cell was legible.

Each team had a worksheet and the three teams rolled up into the group’s performance as a whole.

Goal: Design to work with the Productivity Report, and focus on tracking a different part of the process. A singular report for management review that shows the tracked marketing variables.

Role: Market Researcher

Goal: To compile a complete visual inventory, categorized, and organized of the top competitors product offering.

Role: Design Research Consultant

Details: Nike eyewear is the number two brand in the athletic eyewear market behind Oakley. The Vision department Director requested a complete visual inventory of all of Oakley’s vision products. These are two of the five 11” x 17” boards compiled for him.

Goal: To visually diagram the four design criteria to support infection protection in a hospital environment

Role: Graduate Student

Details: This project involved a lot of data that needed to stay as text. This diagram is part of a one year research and design project exploring sanitation within hospital environments. These are the four design criteria options identified as ways to protect against the spread of infection.

Goal: Disassemble a product, diagram all elements, discuss the materials and methods, and present it on a 24” x 36” poster.

Role: Graduate Student

Details: For this project I used a new micro disk technology from a company called DataPlay. They were able to capture an entire motion picture onto a disk the size of a silver dollar. Using elements from the products design and function, the poster layout was generated.
