DIRECT RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF VILLAGE REVENUE ASSISTANTS INREVENUE DEPARTMENTApplications are invited On-line in the proforma Application available on the

WEBSITE (htto://ccla.coo.oov.in) from eligible candidates from 28.12.2O13 to13.01.2014 (Note:- 12.01.2014 is the last date for payment of fee) for recruitmentto the post of Village Revenue Assistants as per Andhra Pradesh Village Revenue AssistantsService Rules, 2005 for direct recruitment through the District Selection Committee. (JobChart - see Appendix - I)1. CATEGORY OF POST EDUCATIO NAL OUALIFICATION.l.Village Revenue Assistant Must have passed S.S.C (10'n Class) Examinationconducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board ofSecondary Education or its equivalent Examination.2. NATIVITY Shall be the Native of the Revenue Village for whichthe Recruitment is notified. (see Appendix - II)

3. AGE:-

(B) No person shall be eligible if he is less than '18'years and more than '37' years of age as on the 1't day ofJuly of the year in which the notification for selection ismadeProvided that the maximum age limit shall be raised:-(iv) Uniformly by 5 years in the case of candidatesbelonging to the SC, STs or BCs.(v) Uniformly by 10 years in the case of PhysicallyHandicapped persons.(vi) Uniformly by '3' years for Ex-Serviceman inaddition to the length of service rendered inArmed Forces.

4. SCALE OF PAY:- Rs.3000/- Honororium and other allowances as fixed byGovernment from time to time.

5. Method of Selection:-

The Selection of candidates is based on a objective typeWritten Test for 100 Marks at S.S.C., level.General Studies :Arithmetic Skills :Logical Skills :* 50o/o of questions (30 Marks) will be aimed at testing theknowledge of the candidate on rural areas and rural livingconditions.Question paper will be in Telugu, English and UrduMedium. (Syllabus see Appendix - III)

6. Exam Fee:-

Remittance of Fee

Each applicant must pay Rs.300/-.Applicants belongs to SC / ST Categories have to payRs.150/-.No fee applicable to the applicants belonging to PHcategory.(However they shall handover a Xerox copy of the Medicalcertificate issued in SADAREM to the concerned centre)The fee shall be remitted at any of the E-Seva / Mee-Seva/ APonline centres / through web portal of CGG andacknowledgement be obtained by paying only specifiedamount.A service charge of Rs.2Ol- shall be paid to the serviceproviders (e-seva, Mee-Seva, APonline) towardsuploading of application.No payment to be made to service provided for payment offee alone.

APPENDIX - IJOB CHART (DUTIES)gglgSgE _1) Service demand notices and other process issued for the collection ofGovernment dues and shall obey the orders of the V.R.O in the matter of measuring thelands and grain. Inspecting crops and carrying messages, accounts and returns pertainingto the Government. In villages in which there are no Village Revenue Assistants of category(2) he shall discharge the duties of V.R.A., of that category. (Category- 1: Vettl, Kawalkar,Toti, Talayari, Tandalgar and Sethsindhi).Cateoorv 2 A Village Revenue Assistant of category (2) shall subject to the general controlof the V,R.O., substituted as per (c.O.Ms.No. 2176, Revenue dt.05,12.2011) incharge of theirrigation of the lands in the village where there is irrigation from tanks and channers.(Category: 2: Neeradi, Neeraganti)General duties:- The V.R.A., shall besides the duties specified above, such other dutiesas may be assigned to them from time to time by the v.R.o,, However, their services shallnot be utilized for night watchman, Attender in offices and for personal work of V,R.O., andother Revenue officials.

APPENDIX. IIRequirement of Rule 9(2) is that the VRA should be a native of the village and haveadequate knowledge of the Village concerned, Nativity may be determined based onany one of the following documents In that order:-1.(a) "Place of Blrth" as shown in the Birth Certificate, if available, or(b) Nativity as issued by authority competent under G.O.Ms.No.5g SocialWelfare (J) Department, dated: 12-05-1993.(c) Ration Card(d) Place of study for a period of not less than four consecutive academicyears out of 7 years, or place of continuous stay for a period of notless than four years, as the case may be, as on date the notificationfor selection is issued.(e) Pass port.(f) In the case of married women, her nativity or her husband's nativity,shall be determined wlth the documents stated above, which can be

taken into account for this purpose, with a rider that a married womenincluding widows, divorced women and women judicially separatedfrom her husband and not re-married can chose nativity either herown or of her husband,(g) For a Married women passport or a Marriage certificate also can berelied on to determine her nativity.
