Intrinsic & Extrinsic motivation.
What was the reason that you went in to your sport?
When you play your sport, do you play:
To feel good about your performance
Because you enjoy the feeling of when you win.
Achievement motivation If you was asked to
take a penalty kick in the last minute of a cup final, if you score then your team wins the cup final. Do you;
a) Take the penalty and not worry about the result.
b) Decide not to take it, just in case you miss.

teams as you are going to row for 10mins.
Task You still have 10mins
of rowing. Rules:
You must each row at some point in the 10mins.
It doesn't matter how long you row for.

During this session, you are going to form a team (3-people) and you are going to compete against the others.
Task Your team will have
10mins to beat the other team.
If your teams wins, you’ll each receive an award.
Rules: Each of your team needs
to have a go at rowing. It is up to you the time
each of you row for, but it has to be longer than 1.30mins at a time.
