Peoples attention caneasily be drawn to the noise but rarely to silence. The importance of effective listening has beenneglected in past but now we can be seen that the need of effective listening is being givenimportance.

EFFECTIVE SPEAKING
Speaking i nvolves more than ju st saying words.
We started speaking at early age and from then daily we speak frequently on everyoccasion, but still its not been given such importance as it requires. Thats why wehave to face certain difficulties in our life because of ineffective speaking.
Everybody has interesting thoughts floating in their mind, however only a few are able to communicate them effectively, and bring about a resounding impact on their audience. This is because they have probably sharpened their verbalcommunication skills. Many feel that this skill does not need any training, as every individual is able to communicate. Yes,every individual can communicate, but the problem is that every individual cannot effectively communicate.
To speak effectively one must consider the following things:
Digging deeper
Clarity of thought
Listening empathetically
Assert respectfully
Conflict resolution
Speaking skills are important whether it be communicating one on one or to a larger audience. Building rapport, aconnection with the audience allows them to feel part of the relationship, valued and considered. When that occurs andthey engage and respond it allows positive two-way communications to begin to develop.
Through effective speaking one can maintain good personal and professional relations, convey his/her ideas to othersefficiently, resolve conflicts and avoid misunderstandings. In short one can have stress free successful life by improvingspeaking skills.
