They can continue until 28 June 2014 provided they:• prepare an impact assessment• provide this impact assessment to the EPA

Existing activities

These activities began before the Act came into force

They can continue unless “changes” occur

For any “changes” they must apply to the EPA

How we monitor transitional and existing operations

We monitor these in a similar way to permitted activities with:

• compliance action
