  • Healthy Harold Visit The excitement and busyness of the term continues

with the news that Healthy Harold and the Mobile Life Ed Van will be visiting our school in the last week of this

term. All students will have the opportunity of attending the van with their class and learning important information

about developing an active lifestyle and making appropriate decisions around healthy food choices and positive behav-

iour. This cost of this activity is $5.00 per child, which has

been subsidised by the school. Please pay at the school of-fice for your child to attend.

AFL Last week, the Western Riverina trials for AFL were conduct-ed in Leeton. Our student representatives were very well

behaved and enjoyed a successful day. Special thanks to

those parents who drove the students to and from Leeton.

Congratulations to Tom Bradley, Darcy McManus and Brock Redden who have been selected to represent Western River-

ina at the Riverina trials on Friday, 1 April in Jerilderie. From

there a team will be selected to represent Riverina at the Australian Football Carnival in Nelson Bay. The carnival will

be held over several days in May.

Tom Bradley (Edward) also won the longest kick competition

with a kick of 36.4 metres. Well done, Tom!

families a safe and enjoyable Easter break. If travelling,

hope that the Easter bunny or bilby finds its way to your place!

Due to lack of volunteers, there will be no special Meal Day

at the end of term. I desperately need help on Fridays be-tween 12.00pm and 1.00pm. Getting the lunches into bas-

kets correctly on that day needs at least 3 people. Please

see me in the canteen or ring the school if you can help. Thank you. Shirlee Jennings
