BiographyEdward Fritz joined Oppenheimer in June 2015. Ed is a wealth of knowledge in the financial services industry which spans 25 years of solid, hands-on credit expertise. Ed began his career in 1989 in research and trading in the fixed income division at Kidder Peabody & Co. He landed at Morgan Stanley in 1994, where he remained for 18 years moving quickly up the ranks, ultimately becoming a managing, senior salesman on the fixed income desk. As a top sales producer, Ed became an undeniable asset and solidified his reputation in Institutional Credit.
Ed’s expertise across multiple, complex credit products can be advantageous for potential investors, who want to preserve and grow their capital. Fixed income/credit products can provide a steady stream of income for retirement with minimal risk.
Ed’s sound business model is to serve as a trusted Financial Advisor to healthcare professionals, in both the medical and dental fields. His wife is a doctor so he knows firsthand the challenges of the medical industry. He is especially passionate about working directly with healthcare professionals ranging from solo, small practices to large medical organizations that cover both insurance services and group retirement.
Ed offers client-driven products that integrate customizable financial strategies based on individual client needs and total holdings. He also knows that life happens and a client’s circumstance can change in a moment’s notice and is with clients every step of the way. Ed earned a B.A. in history from the College of Staten Island. He is married, and he and his wife reside in Essex Fells, NJ with their five children.

Through a disciplined due diligence process, we identify, recommend and help you select investment managers intended to fulfill an entire asset allocation or just a portion of your portfolio. As part of a separate account program, we monitor your investment managers to help ensure they continue to adhere to the investment strategies for which they were hired.
The Alternative Investments Group provides qualified investors access to nontraditional strategies.
