Speech Title/Topic: “Overcome Adversity - Rise above Your Circumstances”
Shar McBee has been a professional keynote speaker for over 20 years, speaking at
conferences in a dozen countries and 41 states. Her two bestselling books (To Lead is to
Serve and Joy of Leadership) have been quoted by the President of the United States and
featured on most of the major media. Shar left her job as an entertainment reporter for CBS
News in Hollywood to spend 10 years volunteering all around the world. She built wells in a
village in India, organized a concert for homeless children in Australia, raised money for an
orphanage in China, and managed a voter registration drive in California.
Executive Directors and Board Members of non-profits have used Shar’s “To Lead is to Serve”
method to double donations, triple members & increase volunteers by 500%. In this month’s
presentation, Shar will share:
How to get people to say YES to you
How to win support
The easiest way to insure that people will listen
