Splash Math is an app that is primarily design for students in grades 1-5. However, it can easily be used by students who are older due to its versatile math sub chapters.

The app has many unique themes within to keep the student interested – this particular theme is space. It disguises the learning with the idea that it is a game.

Great for students who are easily distracted or get bored with math.

covers such a wide-range of

subjects or chapters within

arithmetic, such as algebra,

fractions, and geometry to

name a few.

The student is able to just

press one of these buttons for

the desired subject.

TIME MATH PRO SPLASH MATH

Also uses a coin system to reward, but has virtual alien in the bottom corner giving verbal affirmations as well, along with verbal cues of missed questions.

Privacy: student or parent login to access student records that are kept. Also has email capability to allow parent/teacher to see results.

Uses a coin system that deposits virtual coins into a piggy bank of all correct answers. Gives applause to goals being met.

Privacy: Uses an email system to only allow the parent or teacher see the students results.

instructional tool to aid the classroom

instruction.

Both apps discussed are great apps, but

are great for different reasons depending

on age, comprehension level, and

subject.

This reading comprehension app is designed for grades 3-5. It has 20 short stories for the student to read.

10 stories are non-fiction and 10 stories are fiction.

There is no time limit involved and the student can read and process the information at their own pace.
