I had to design this detached house with a determined

size. We got limitations for the building’s height as well. For the other architectural decisions we

got a free hand.

In this project we had to work in small groups to define a concept

for locating the buildings on a big site. Later we got separated to decide the flat concepts and

the materias, but in the end the final result should reflect a

common system.

This building contains an ordinary library function. It has

three reading rooms on separate floors. The journal reading room

is designed to be able to stay open beyond the library’s

opening hours.

I designed the winery to take advantage of the terrian

capability. To use less energy, the “journey“ of the grape has

a vertical direction. The other thing is the house has a linear structure that can follow the technological process easily.

As the grape arrives to the end of the building it turns into wine,

that people can taste in the bar or on the terrace.

apartment house & nurseryHungary, Győr

The concept was to build an appartment house for young

people in cohesion with a community function. It was

a team concept for certain sites of a street in Győr. On my

site the location of the house takes advantage of the land capability. As long as people

go across the “tunnel” to reach the nearby street, or their flats,

they can interact with a vibrant community life.

Palinka & jam manufactureHungary, Pannonhalma

I wanted to extends the functions of the farm at

the Benedictine Abbey in Pannonhalma, fitting the new

house to the extant environment and economic system. Visitors can become acquainted with

the modern manufacturing process and taste products made here, too. The house

reflects sanity and naturalism through its use of traditional local materials: timber and

adobe. The logical construction of the timber frame is to the

house’s profit, forming solid, pure volumes.
