the option of applying up to 28 credits of this Ed.S. toward OU's Ph.D. in Education

This newly revised degree program focuses on leading schools with essential skills in stress management, emotional intelligence, self-care, and mindfulness-based practices embedded in the quality administrative preparation course work

Outstanding faculty with extensive experience in school leadership including the program coordinator, Dr. Caryn Wells, who has extensive training and teaching experience in Mindfulness-Based practices

Classes held @ the MUC in Macomb County with an innovative design of course offerings including: Monday night classes once a week from 5:00-8:20 Five Saturday classes from 9:00-3:00 in both the fall and winter of the 2-year program Two totally on-line classes

Important Note: This 34 credit program is effective for cohorts starting fall, 2011

*The internship actually begins during the first class (EA 740) and runs through the duration of the program. A full time faculty member serves as the cohort coordinator/advisor, teaches the first and last courses, and oversees the internship. An internship progress report is submitted at the mid-point and a summary report is due during the final term.

Unofficial bachelor degree transcripts – this will help your application get processed while you are

waiting for your official transcripts to arrive.

Two Recommendation Requests – You will need send a recommendation request electronically to

two individuals using the online form provided. (Must provide valid email addresses.)

Request official transcripts from all post‐secondary educational institutions from which you earned a

degree or enrolled in graduate level coursework. Official college transcripts must be sent in a sealed
