‘You’re never too far away to learn’
At CRANAplus we are committed to the development and delivery of high quality education programs that support and develop remote and isolated health practitioners. CRANAplus recognises that excellence in learning is key to the delivery of best practice health care, and the retention of a skilled workforce within remote and isolated health practice.
CRANAplus is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No.40719) and is recognised as a provider of quality-assured and nationally recognised training and assessment to remote and isolated health practitioners across Australia.
We deliver education courses, which are clinically relevant across the lifespan and grounded in contemporary, evidence based practice. Our courses are designed and written by a team of health professionals with unique skills in remote health, emergency, critical care and/or midwifery and clinical education.
CRANAplus education services are continually growing and we provide a range of online acute, upskilling and mandatory education courses. Along with online courses we are diversifying to meet the needs of the remote and isolated workforce through the development and delivery of management and leadership courses into the future — we encourage you to watch the education space on our website for further information.
This booklet provides you with a summary of our available courses and information on how to organise an Education course for your workforce. Further information on Education courses can also be found on the CRANAplus website which provides up to date information including accreditations, endorsements and RTO Units of Competency.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the amazing course you presented. Nurses working in the bush are exposed to some intense scenarios we would not regularly see in a large metro hospital. We often find ourselves in situations that we may not be emotionally or professionally prepared for. It was reassuring to attend this course and have this fact acknowledged. Attending this course not only gave me valuable information, it reaffirmed my love for nursing in the bush. Having an organisation like CRANA offering support and education I feel empowered to continue the work that I do. Thank you again.”RN Derby Hospital July 2014

of Australia, many of whom live in remote areas, and pays its respect to their Elders both past and present. CRANAplus contributes significantly to improving the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by building the strength of the remote and isolated health workforce.
