MENTOR

The renowned educationist Mrs. Lata Vaidyanathan is the mentor of MADE EASY SCHOOL and is also a

prominent member in the board of directors of the school. She is committed to promotion of child-

centred education. During her illustrious career of more than three-and-a-half decades, she was the

Principal of Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan’s school at Chandigarh, the Founder-Principal of Eicher School at

Parwanoo and the Principal of Modern School Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, for the last fourteen years.

She spearheaded burden-free education, and is a renowned practitioner of Multiple Intelligence

approach to learning and Total Quality Management in education. She is well respected as an

educationist both in India and abroad.

She undertook many outreach programmes to help the community and sensitize students and teachers

towards addressing issues concerning community development. Her contribution towards inclusive

education of differently-abled children is commendable.

She has been honored with the National Award to Teachers in the year 2003 by the President of India. She

is also the recipient of numerous other awards including the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award, Bharat Shiromani

Award, Madhav Gourav Ratna Achievement Award, International Lifetime Achievement Award 2009,

Global Warming Reduction Award 2009, Educationist of the Year Award 2013 and Lifetime Achievement

Award by the Patanjali Trust 2014.

She is also on the board of National Bal Bhavan and serves on the Executive Committee of many schools.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION: Physical Education is an integral part of life at MADE EASY SCHOOL for it not only

plays a significant role in moulding the character but also in instilling positive values among students. The

objective of our Physical Education programme is to help our students inculcate healthy life practices and

habits; encourage them to develop an interest (and expertise) in at least one sport (or physical activity)

for lifelong practice; and through team spirit, sportsmanship, and fair play, build positive relationships

with others.

MADE EASY SCHOOL gives equal importance to all

areas of learning, including visual arts, performing arts,

and physical education. Equipped with international

standard running track of 400 metres, state-of-the-art

cricket pitch, basketball court, tennis court and soccer

ground along with adventure activities like rock

climbing and Burma Bridge, our sports curriculum aims

at character building through instilling confidence.

PERFORMING ARTS: At MADE EASY SCHOOL, a
