Education is a core focus for the LMA, as we strive to foster a greater understanding of documentation, regulation and market practice across jurisdictions and product groupings.Through our membership, committees and documentation initiatives, we have relationships with the key players in the market, guaranteeing our speakers are leading experts in their field. The LMA’s Events Programme continues to expand, with an increased number of international events, UK training days, conferences and webinars planned for 2017. Events typically can cover revisions to, or a launch of, an LMA document, legal and regulatory issues, market updates, as well as many other issues of importance to the loan market. In 2017, we will continue to roll out our very successful Webinar Programme and release further modules under our new E-Learning Programme. With the majority of events and all webinars and e-learning being free of charge to members, the LMA’s Events Programme is a valuable benefit of membership.
