MISSION STATEMENT Dedicated to the development and delivery of low-cost and convenient educaonal opportunies for water, wastewater, and stormwater industry professionals. GOALS: Increase the attendance at training events by at least 3% each year. Develop new or improve current training opportunities. Maximize relationships with other groups and associations. Support other committees. PROFILE OF THE COMMITTEE: We are a mix of water system managers, operators, engineers, manufacturer representatives, retirees, and technology professionals. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN THIS COMMITTEE? Become known as an expert in your field. Have a say in planning new training events. Network with others in your field! We’re looking for TRAINERS: Electrical Fundamentals — presentation of prepared training materials - 24 hours spread

over several days. Pumps & Pumping Workshop — presentation of prepared training materials—24 hours

spread over several days. Plant Maintenance Technologist Conference - presentation of multiple topics ranging from

control valves, VFD’s & plant coatings. Too shy to present? Help us PLAN or VOLUNTEER! Help program the annual Meter Symposiums. This year’s will be held on June 30 in

Machesney Park. Volunteer to help out at the 2020 Water Quality

Technology Conference in Schaumburg in November. Want to help, but not right now? Think about NEXT YEAR’S WATERCON: Volunteer to staff the All -Committees booth. Help Plan/Moderate the Operator Day Track, Meet the

IEPA or Operators Oath. Want to go BIG? Ask how you can be Chair or Vice Chair!

We are always looking for volunteers with ideas for training or to present at seminars, webinars or

mini-conferences.
