education as a humanitarian response
DESCRIPTION
According to Save The Children (2012), nearly half of all out-of-school children are in areas currently affected by conflicts. In addition to man-made conflicts, natural disasters will also take their toll on children in the next ten years. How can education be used in humanitarian response? Is education compatible with humanitarian response? Yes, education is not only compatible, but is must be one of the pillars of humanitarian response.TRANSCRIPT
