Building a resilient future needs people of all ages to understand how the world is changing and learn what this means for their

family, community and work.

"I hear and I forget.  I see and I remember. I do and I understand." Confucius

Rather than tell and show pupils what needs to happen, involving them in the DOING of making change makes

learning stick in the head and heart for longer

If it takes 10,000 hours to achieve mastery, the younger children start, the more time they have

to get good at the important things, such as preparing for a changing world

TYF developed the iCAT Innovation Catalyst project to help organisations identify the 10% of employees who most understand how the future will change, and provide development resources for the other 90%

The iCAT 10% are identifying the tough challenges that they have insufficient time or knowledge to solve by themselves. We will bring these into the classroom for

collaborative, creative problem solving
