Philippians 1:3-6, “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Paul wrote this to his fellow Christ followers in Philippi and I write it to you now as I retire from my role as Director of Educational Ministries. I am filled with thanksgiving for your trust and support as we grew up together in God’s Word and service and in the understanding of our salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord. God has filled my heart and mind to overflowing with opportunities to share the good news of Jesus Christ throughout our church and community. I will be forever grateful. To God be the glory for the things He has done. Love, Pam

Advent begins the Sunday after Thanksgiving this year. Please join us in decorating the Sanctuary on Monday November 25, 2019 from 7:00-9:00pm. Decorating includes hanging garland, placing candles in the windows, setting up the Nativity,

the Advent Wreath and decorating the Chrismon Tree. Everyone is welcome and there is something for everyone to do!

Sunday December 8, 2019 at 3:00pm Join us for a special time of fellowship as we make a joyful noise singing Carols to our church family members and friends who are not able to join us in worship. Followed by supper in the Fellowship Hall.

Won’t you think about those families when you’re grocery shopping and pick up something extra, so they too might enjoy a special meal with their family. All items are needed before the distribution on November 25th. Some of the items that are especially needed include: Stuffing Canned/dried Beans

Pasta Bags of White Rice Pasta Sauces Cranberry Sauce Mac & Cheese Sweet Potatoes Potatoes – boxed or fresh (If fresh please bring closer to Distribution Date) Turkeys or Hams (there’s a greater need for hams)

Next January we will be returning to Tarboro, North Carolina to engage in the mission of rebuilding people’s homes that were flooded in Hurricane Matthew. You do not need to be highly skilled to be on the team, just have a heart to serve God and your neighbor. Your cost for the trip is $100 plus the cost of your meals when you travel and dinners while we are in Tarboro.
