Scenario:A new disease is spreading across the globe. The Enormous Ralph’s is sold out, the shortage of toilet paper is leading to surge pricing of bidets. The only way to prove you are not sick is to show me your eye. All personnel have been quarantined. Your mission as an Embedded Journalist is to record and document the outbreak. There is only four ways to effectively combat this disease:

Your options to complete this mission:

1. Tiktok - Compose and perform a Tiktok based on your experience in self quarantine. This can include dances based on social-distancing, insane grocery store visits, military engagements between your siblings, or anything else that is funny and light hearted

a. Compose a two paragraph synopsis to attach with your Tiktok. Explain your inspiration, what it means, and how it is inspired by your quarantine experience.

2. Meme - Create a Meme based on the themes presented during these times of isolation and pandemic. The funnier, the better. Please be school appropriate (looking at you Ol’ Bill and Laserflip)

a. Compose a two paragraph artist introduction with your meme. Explain your inspiration, what it means, and how it is inspired by your quarantine experience.

3. The Modern Classic - Create a video documenting your experience. You can use the style of guerilla journalism, gonzo journalism, war correspondent, or whatever style you find online that you want to use. This can be short or long, but should take the form of news. Use costumes!

a. Compose a two paragraph report to be attached with your piece. Explain your choices, cite evidence (you can make this up and have fun with it), and give reasoning for why you chose to cover this element of the story.

4. The Classic - Compose a 750 word personal written narrative of your captivity. This could be in diary form, it could be a long form letter to someone, or a narrative story. You decide!
