Guildford Motor Club May 2016 From David Roscoe We received a brief note from David Roscoe recently along with this lovely photograph. David goes onto say “ I thought you might be amused by the enclosed photo. As I am on my sixth Daimler SP 250, I decided to repeat a photo taken with my first SP 250 in Guildford in 1965, so this autumn after 50 years I managed to fit the family in for an up-to-date photo. The biggest problem was fitting in son Hamish - now 6ft+ next to Diana!. I trust all is well with you, Regards David” In Tune 1 Editorial Welcome to the May edition of ‘In Tune’. That’s it – at long last the Spring has arrived. The aircon in the car is coming into it’s own or the roof has come down – my son’s car has neither (well it has a roof obviously but it doesn’t come down!) and it does make me think how different driving was as recently as the 70’s and 80’s. However the Austin 10 of the 1940’s had aircon of a kind with its wind open windscreen! Any copy would be welcome! Happy motoring Annette and Robert Clayson

Editorial

Welcome to the May edition of ‘In Tune’.

Happy motoring

Annette and Robert Clayson

Annette and I recently spent a week following Tour Auto across France. From Paris down to Cannes, via Beaune, Lyon, Valance and Marseille. So naturally a few pictures.
