DarrenGood morning, Yang Berbahagia Dato Freida Dato Mohd Pilus, Founder and Mentor of Cempaka Schools and Principal of Cempaka International Ladies College, Yang Berusaha Dr Rizal, Chairman of Cempaka Schools, our honourable guests, Encik Ahmad Sulong Bin Ismail, Principal of SMK Padang Serai, Kedah and the teachers of SMK Padang Serai, Kedah, and our dear principals and teachers and all Cempakans.

TogetherI, Darren Tang and I, Alia Mastura are honoured and proud to be your emcees for this mornings special assembly.

AliaWe thank you for gracing this occasion and your honorable presence in the humble arena of our school. We are delighted to welcome every delegate, and wish to extend our warmest welcome for you have travelled all the way from Kedah to be here today. We would like to express our utter most heartfelt gratitude for your visit on this memorable occasion. It is indeed a great pleasure to host you all today at our dear Cempaka. DarrenLadies and Gentlemen, our home, our Cempaka began more than a quarter of a century ago and the Cempaka School legacy was formed in 1983 beginning with a blooming and daring dream of our Founder, and later expanded to include several international schools in Damansara Heights and here in Cheras as well as a Ladies' College and a school in Labanon.

AliaHere in our second home, we, cempakans, are expected to excel in academic and sports fields while maintaining the spirit of gentlemanliness, a winning combination proven time again and again by the Cempaka School's passing rate of 100 % in the UPSR, PMR and SPM examinations.

DarrenHere at Cempaka, students and teachers communicate not only through real-life interactions but also through cutting edge technology, an interactive platform known as Schoology that helps the students keep up-to-date with upcoming events, homework, assignments as well as grades. The school is intriguingly linked via wireless network, through which the students are able to access the internet for their assignment or research.

AliaHere at Cempaka, our schools policy has been to employ the finest of teachers from across the globe who have not only high qualifications in their respective fields but also with many years of teaching experience and most important of all, here in Cempaka, we have teachers who care for their students and teach from the heart and know that their passion and enthusiasm is, as our Dato says, contagious.

DarrenLadies and gentlemen, here at our school we not only nourish our minds, but also our bodies and souls. Here at Cempaka, we study, play and perform and this year we performed on stage at our exciting box office production, the 'Wedding Singer' and, we the students, shined here on stage like stars and glittered for six unforgettable nights where we worked together as singers and dancers, as painters and actors, as craftsmen and musicians brought glamour on to the arena; it was surely experience we, the students, will never forget for years and years to come. AliaLadies and Gentlemen, here is a school where we have been taught, trained and tamed and where we strive in challenges that lead us free from fear of failure, and take us from weakness to strength, where we are now training hard for the upcoming Sports Day where we are ready to break records and pass the frontiers of force and strength and aim for the highest horizons and dive into the deepest waters and learn to live life to the fullest for we have learnt that true education is about change, a change that will prepare us for the future, today.

DarrenLadies and Gentlemen, our honorable guest, to show you a glimpse of our school, we have prepared for you breathtaking performances. So be ready to be dazzled and swept off your feet by our very own Cempakans. Let us now welcome the performers with a big round of applause.

AliaLadies and Gentlemen, as you all know we are only a few days passed Teachers where we, here at Cempaka, celebrated Appreciation Day commemorating the sacrifice of not only our tutors and teachers but also our life long mentors, our dear mothers collaborating both Mothers Day and Teachers Day. It was wonderful to see the students presenting songs of appreciation to our dear mothers and teachers who were present that day in the audience..

DarrenAlso, last weekend, our Cempaka Interact Club comprised of both our students and teachers went for the Save The World Replantation Program which was held in Tasik Bera in Pahang. The students and teachers left for this program immediately after their Annual Sports Day and Swimming Gala rehearsals in one of our Cempaka Branches, Cempaka International Ladies College in Sepang. It was a memorable occasion to see students and teachers hold hand in hand to save our planet and celebrate the green and the our lives rooted in mother nature.
