    1. Open your internet browser Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer

    etc.

    2. Type the following in the address bar: http://aims.uitm.edu.my/curriculum

    3. The following login screen will appear:

    First time login: Username :

    Password : Akari123

    Please change your password after first login. Instruction to change your password is

    in Page 3.

    Forgot your password?

    Click retrieve it from the login screen. You will get the following screen:

    A new password will be generated and emailed to you. You can then change your password. (Refer Page 3 to change your password)

    Type: Username Password And click login

    Type your Email address here, which is the one registered with STARS. Other email address is not accepted. Then click Send.

    Menu bar

    Shows number of draft courses under your responsibility

    Shows total number of active courses in UiTM

    Click to download the user manual

    Click Home to return to your dashboard

    My Account show your account details

    2. USER DASHBOARD

    1. Once logged in, the user dashboard is displayed as follows :

    Draft Courses list of all courses with draft status Courses > My courses list of all courses under your responsibility, draft and approved

    > All Courses list of all approved courses and draft course under your responsibility

    NOTE: Currently all courses are in draft status

    Type your old password here

    Type your new password here

    Retype your new password here

    Then click Save to save your new password

    3. CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD

    To change your password, click My Account on the top right corner of your screen. The following view will appear.

    Click Reset Password Tab to get the change password screen as follows:

    Password Rule: Your Password MUST BE a minimum of 8 characters with at least one (1) numeral. e.g. abcDE12345

    4. EDIT A COURSE

    To edit your course, click My Courses

    A list comprising of your course(s) will be displayed.

    Click on the Course Name that you want to edit. A list of actions appear:

    You will be able to:

    i. View Course View your course ii. Edit Edit your course if it has Draft status. You cannot edit Courses that have

    other statuses. iii. Download Course Download your course in pdf format. iv. Submit for Approval Once you have completed editing your course, you can submit

    our course for approval. The status of Draft will change to Pending For Approval and this course cannot be edited anymore.

    v. Delete Delete your course that has draft status. Care must be taken is using this function. You have to input all information from nil if you accidently delete your course.

    vi. Assign Course Lecturers select and assign lecturer(s) that will be teaching this course

    vii. Affiliated Programmes will show all programmes that offer this course. It is greyed if this course is not delivered in any programme.

    viii. Export SLT enable you to export the Student Learning Time entered in the SLT Tab into an Excel file.

    Click Edit in order to edit your chosen course. You will be taken to course information entry screen. The course information entry screen is divided into 7 tabs:

    i. Main where course main information is entered ii. CLO where Course Learning Outcome is entered iii. Requisite where information about pre-requisite, co-requisite, equivalent and

    same exam courses is entered iv. Assessments where assessment strategy is entered v. Topic where Topics being taught is entered vi. SLT where information on Student Learning Time is entered vii. Finish Once all information has been entered, you can Save your work, see a

    Print preview or submit your course for approval. NOTE: Save button is placed above and below every tab.

    Save your work on completion of each tab. Information in the current tab may be needed in the next tab. Save your work as often as possible.

    NOTE: * denotes mandatory fields

    Shows the course being edited

    Type the course name in English and Malay

    Year first available for teaching. Choose from the drop down list.

    Number of weeks in a semester. Choose from the drop down list.

    Select your Faculty which is also the faculty owner of the course

    Your name should appear here as the Resource Person

    Choose the relevant learning taxonomy from the drop down list.

    Enter course next review date

    Select the relevant MQF level and National Education CODE (NEC) of your course from the drop down list

    The MQF credit is derived from Student Learning Time entered in the SLT Tab

    The period in which the course is delivered. Choose from the drop down list. Some courses may span across more than one semester

    Once you have completed data entry in this tab remember to save your work. Move to the next tab by clicking Next. You will be taken to the CLO tab. You can also click the CLO tab at the top of the screen.

    Type in the synopsis or description of your course

    Choose the mode of delivery for this course. You can choose one or more from the available list on the left and click >. Your choice will be displayed in the selected list on the right. Click >> to select all mode from the available list. If your Mode of Delivery is not in the list, please make a request to BHEA to add your assessment type. Write an email to: [email protected]

    To add a new keyword, type the keyword in the new, then click Add. Your list of keywords will be displayed. Click Delete to delete the keyword.

    b. CLO Tab

    The CLO tab allows you to enter the Course Learning Outcome.

    Click Add New Course Learning Outcome to add a CLO. The following screen will appear:

    This screen will be followed with Blooms or SOLO Learning Outcome Taxonomy input screen depending on the Learning Taxonomy chosen in the Main Tab.

    Insert the Course Learning Outcome statement and tick () the relevant Learning Outcome Domain
