The Campus Sport programme offers a rangeof activities throughout the year for students, staff and the community and is a great wayto make new friends and keep yourself active.‘Get Active’ is a programme of traditionalsports such as Netball, Badminton andFootball as well as some that you may neverhave tried before like Touch Rugby. Withthe idea that there is no commitment tojoin a team or club or even play every week, you can simply just turn up either on yourown or with friends and play and have fun.

Some sessions are led by instructorsoffering coaching tips and advice in thatparticular sport. Many sessions are led by asports activator who will greet you andmake you feel welcome and help you getinvolved ensuring that everyone gets a go,and others are just about turning up andtaking part and having fun.

There is already a regular weekly 6-a-sidefootball league running but we will also belooking at introducing other ‘Game On’leagues in other sports through the year. Sowhether you want to take part as anindividual or with others as part of a teamthere should be something for everyone
