March 28, 2016 Inauguration of EDC ignite

The inauguration ceremony of ignite- The Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) on March 28, 2016 at 02:00 pm.

EDC Supports businesses and innovators as they develop, launch, and commercialize their ideas and motivate the students to bring out their latent spirit of Entrepreneurship. Besides the above, EDC will strive to narrow the gap between industry expectations and student capabilities.

Our honourable guests, Mr V K Dubey (MD Continental Carbon), Mr Ravi Agarwal ( Director DKY Sales, President Rotary Club of Sahibabad), Mr Dharmender Singh (Plant Head Shriram Pistons), and Mr Vinay Gupta (Executive Director GMA, Retd. As GM HR NTPC) reached and shared their valuable thoughts with us. They gave encouragement, provided industry insights, shared experiences and motivated the students in being better human beings.

The group of Inmantec students selected as event coordinators did a wonderful job right from ushering in our guests, inviting and escorting all faculty members, leading guests to the board room and subsequently to the launch area, followed by escorting them to the board room for refreshments and subsequent exit from campus.

2. Experts Talk on Entrepreneurship Development

“Experts Talk on Entrepreneurship Development” by INMANTEC on September 29, 2016 by EDC Cell from 1:30 onwards.

As Entrepreneurship is one of the most trending fields with vast scope. Entrepreneurship Development Cell motivates the students to be a dedicated entrepreneur by means of such events.

Expert's For the Session:

Partha Neog

has more than 19 years of experience working across sectors. He started his career with Bharat Electronics in Naval Engineering and then moved to Hughes Software Systems to work in Digital Signal Processing. Later on he worked with Nokia as a client in UK for 2.5 years. Partha , post his MBA moved to the Business site in Aricent and then as product head of 99acres. In 2010 he left 99acres to start Vantage Circle. He is an Alumni of REC (NIT) Kurukshetra and ISB , Hyderabad.

Mr. Ranjeet Singh Rai

Mr Ranjeet Singh Rai has started his career in International Trade in year 1994 with APL group and remain active in Export of black steel tubes and galvanized steel tubes across Africa, Middle East, Trinidad and Tobago, Srilanka, CIS countries in Russia. A keen analyst, highly skilled in market forecasting, market & business launch/ set up, quick to identify & formulate strategies to exploit business opportunities. I have worked in various industries, Financial Services, F&B, Real Estate, IT-

Software/Hardware/Office Automation/Networking & Satellite communications, Steel Tubes, Education, Ceramics Tiles n Building Materials, Automobile Ancillaries, education. He undertook several exposures like, Dream City Amritsar, TDI City, Ansal API-Golf Links.

Mr. Anupam Dixit:-

Anupam Dixit, A history and management post-graduate from Lucknow University is an artist and educationist by heart. He has authored three books, “Art as a tool for teachers”, “Origami – The art of paper folding” and “Journey Through the solar wind which is under publication with Penguin Random House.

His More than 100 articles have been published in Amar Ujala, Hindustan, Kadambini, Navneet, Parag etc. He is an active blogger too (www.duniyan.blogspot.com) He holds experience in Management, education, teaching History, political science and public administration in various institutions.

He also conducts workshops on creativity, stress management and Art as a stress buster for clients like Infosys, HCL, TCS etc.He is founder director of ARTWORX – School of visual and Performing arts in Ghaziabad and Director of his new company “New Age Learning Systems Pvt Ltd” Aimed at developing content for digital learning mediums.

3. Business Carnival 25th October 2016

EDC Event- BUSINESS CARNIVAL ROUND-1. This event was scheduled on 25th October 2016 at 11:30, Venue - Auditorium Terrace. This carnival will help our students to take hands on experience of ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

4. IDEA GENERATION WORKSHOP 10th FEB 2017

Mr. Vinay Chaddha- An Electronics Hobbyist and an Entrepreneur. He is the founder of GVC Systems. GVC Systems Pvt Ltd is an embedded electronic design and development company. The design centre is at Amity Innovation Incubator, Amity University, Noida.

5. Expert's Talk-II on Entrepreneurship Development & Business Carnival – 1 Award Ceremony

Introduction

Was born on 15th November 1940, in the Capital of India,

He was involved with the Northern India Regional Council of theInstitute of Company Secretaries of India, in various capacities, as Member, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Chairman and Chairman.

The ICSI became a statutory body on 1st January 1981, while he was Chairman, NIRC, ICSI.

He attended the International Convention of Company Secretaries held at Hong Kong in 1979, at London in 1985 and at Colombo in 1992.

He resigned his job in 1983 and turned into an entrepreneur. He is a great believer in Company Secretaries turning into successful entrepreneurs.

Vimal Organics Limited executes Turnkey Projects in India & abroad. The Company has executed few projects in India & Bangladesh.

visited Europe, UK, USA, Egypt, Dubai, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand.

He is deeply involved with charitable works and is the Executive Committee member of Vardan Seva Sansthan – a charitable institution that renders FREE eye care to the poor patients in rural areas.

He has been associated with the FICCI SAARC FORUM for about 15 years. He was Executive Committee Member of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the years 2005-2007. Has been actively involved with trade negotiations with all the SAARC countries.

Once again, he has been nominated as Executive Committee member of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry 2014-2016
