Procedure to extract Exchange mailbox

Run Stellar Phoenix EDB to PST Converter. The main screen displays two options to convert an Exchange database to PST files: 'Convert Online EDB to PST' and 'Convert Offline EDB to PST'.

Online EDB to PST Conversion

To perform online EDB to PST conversion, click 'Convert Online EDB to PST'. The 'Connect to Exchange Server Mailbox' dialog box appears on your screen.

In-order to connect single user's mailbox, select 'Connect to single mailbox' . Specify the 'Mailbox Name' and 'Server Name' and then click 'OK'.Tthe 'User Name' and 'Status' of the mailbox is displayed.

Select 'Connect to all mailboxes on server' in the same dialog box to connect to all user mailboxes on the Exchange server. Type the 'Admin' and 'Server Name' and click 'OK'. Some mailboxes are 'Disconnected' as you do not have 'Full Mailbox Permission' for those mailboxes.

A list of all emails, contacts, notes, attachments, calendars, and other items for single or all mailboxes on the server is displayed in the left pane. Click any item to see its preview in the right pane.

Offline EDB to PST Conversion

In the main interface, click 'Convert Offline EDB to PST'.

In the dialog box, click 'Open EDB File' to select the EDB file to be repaired.

If you do not remember the location of the file, click 'Find EDB File' to search

and locate MS Exchange databases in the system.

The progress bar indicates the scanning process.

When the scan is completed, the software lists all mailboxes present in the EDB file in the left pane. Once you click a specific mailbox, all items in the mailbox will be displayed in the top-right pane. Click an item to see the preview at the bottom.

Select the required mailboxes to be converted and then click 'Save Mailboxes' icon on the tool bar. Provide a destination to save these mailboxes in the dialog box and click ‘OK’.

All the mailboxes are saved in the system as PST files at your specified location.
