Initiative to reduce harmful emission of toxic

waste, effluents, bio-medical

waste, harmful gas etc. in

• Air

• Water

• Land

�EcovativesTM Low Energy:

Initiative to reduce usage of

non-renewable sources of energy i.e. Coal, petroleum etc.

�EcovativesTM Conservation:

Initiative to reduce wastage of (efficient usage of) natural resources i.e. water, air,

trees etc.

�EcovativesTM Building (for business unit): Contributing towards reduction in usage

of water , energy and generation of solid waste.

�EcovativesTM Earthcare: Awards to be given for the initiative taken by a corporate

for improving the ecosystem external to its regular business and not with the

interest of earning profit: e.g.,

• Community environment initiatives

• Soil conservation

• Wild life preservation

The Nomination Process

�Online nominations were invited for all categories of industry/business.

�Users had to fill up the nomination forms with required proof for their activity.

�An expert jury comprising industry experts, rating agency and Web18 editorial

evaluated the entries and shortlisted the nominations in each category

What’s Unique?

Using The Internet as a platform to identify and recognize those companies, big

and small from different parts of the country, which have been at the forefront of

innovations in using technology or processes to make the world a cleaner and

better place. It’s the first time an Indian entity has attempted to do that with

heartening responses from the stakeholders.
