a. Hooks Extend/Retract
Hooks Extend/Retract option indexes the rear hooks forward when the operator has to
hang the bag. This option is usually used with Hooks Open/Close and Docking Head
options to decrease overall cycle time and increase operator safety.
Features:
• Operated with (2) two pneumatic rodless cylinder
• Simple easy to maintain design
• Position detection switches ensure hooks reach the extended or retracted
position.
• Adjustable to accommodate varying bag sizes
b. Hooks Open / Closed (HOC)
This option allows the (4) four hook assemblies to
open automatically using pneumatic cylinders. The
hooks are released at the end of the fill cycle allowing
the filled container to be removed from the fill station
by fork truck or optional conveyors.
Features:
• Operated with (2) two pneumatic rodless cylinder
• Simple easy to maintain design
• Position detection switches ensure hooks reach the extended or retracted
position.
• Adjustable to accommodate varying bag sizes

c. Spout with Bladder and Pinch Ring Option (SBR)
This option is used when to bag being filled does not have a fill
spout incorporated. The seal surface is formed by a round ring
that is attached to the fill spout and creates a fixed surface for
the inflatable bladder to seal against when using a non-spouted
bag. The opening of the bag is bunched and fed between the
outside of the inflatable bladder and pinch ring. The bladder is
controlled by a manual style “joystick” type pneumatic valve
located on the end of the bag arms and must be actuated by the
operator while hanging the bag prior to the fill cycle.
d. Pneumatic Product Valve Option (APV)
This incorporates the use of a pneumatically operated orifice
gate valve which allows the EconoMAX Advanced Control
System to control the flow of material. The control system
moves the valve from the open, closed and slow feed
positions. It should be noted that the valve must be mounted
to the product feed system above the fill station and not the
fill station itself to avoid weight inaccuracies.
Features:
• Pneumatic actuation
• Orifice type self-cleaning material
isolation plate
• 304 SS product contact surfaces
• Rated for up to 15 PSI pressure differential
• 8” standard, other sizes available
• Three position operation for open, closed, and dribble position
• Adjustable dribble position for optimization of the fill
• Electronic reed switches for position sensing
Please note: The product fill valve must be attached to the customers hopper above
the fill station and will be shipped loose.

e. Pneumatic Lifting Cylinder Option (PL)
This incorporates the use of a large bore pneumatic cylinder mounted on
the back of the machine which lifts and lowers the glide arm frame (the bag
hanging frame). It is typically used when there are multiple
container sizes being filled on a single machine.
Features:
• 6” diameter x 30” stroke pneumatic cylinder
• Pin locations varying 5” to adjust for multiple
container sizes
• Requires manual pin stop insertion when adjusting
f. Bag Inflation Blower (BL)
This option is used to inflate the bag prior to
starting the filling process. Inflating the bag will
pre-form and eliminate any creases or folds that
may be in the bag. Also, if the bag has a liner it will
form the liner to the bag. Typically, this is
combined with the (IV option) which isolates the
blower from dust collection during the bag inflation
cycle then switches to the dust collection position
after filling has begun.

g. Plant Air Option (PA)
This option is used when you would prefer to use plant supplied compressed air to
perform the inflation of the bag prior to the fill cycle. This will be done using a ¾” NPT
connection on a “joystick” style pneumatic valve. The flow path for
the air is the annular opening between the outer diameter and
the inner diameter of the fill spout which is the same
opening as the dust removal path. Typically this is
isolated with the (IV option) which isolates the plant air
from dust collection during the bag inflation cycle then
switches to the dust collection position after filling has
begun.
Features:
• 3/8” inlet and 2” outlet air amplifier
• Aluminum construction
• Venturi type with no moving parts
• Boost air volume at 25:1 ratio
• 5 SCFM (141 SLPM) air flow required
h. Isolation Valve (IV) Option
This option is used when you want to connect the
filling station to your existing dust collection system
while also performing the bag inflation. The valve is a
3” NPT 2 position pneumatically operated ball valve. It
isolates the dust collector from the bag inflation
process during bag inflation, and the bag inflation
system from the dust collector during the filling
process.
Features:
• Air-operated, 304 SS 3” NPT Ball Valve
• Position switches and visual indication
• Connects blower or dust collection directly to the annular opening in the
fill spout

k. NTEP certified load cells This option incorporates a 4 NTEP certified load cell
scale system. By weighing all of the fill station
structure we are able to fill and weigh
simultaneously. The standard scale system has a
9,000 LB capacity. The accuracy of the scale system is
0.03% of scale capacity.
