5 Business Factors That Can Make or Break CRM

CRM is often referred to

as a foundation on which

other things are built, but

CRM itself needs to sit on

a solid foundation as well.

What is that foundation

built on? A bunch of things

that are, in general, never

considered when we talk

about CRM, but which can

heavily influence CRM's

effectiveness for good and

for ill, based on how well

the business executes on

them. There are many

foundational things that

every business should

E-commerce becomes 'star' attraction

Not just seasoned entrepre-

neurs, but celebrities are also

hooked by the growing e-

commerce segment. After Bol-

lywood and sports stars such

as Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan,

Karisma Kapoor, Salman

Khan, Yuvraj Singh and Za-

heer Khan, tennis ace Mahesh

Bhupathi has jumped on the

fledgling e-commerce band-

wagon to exploit opportunities.

Bhupathi today launched his e-

commerce portal,

www.sports365.in, to exclu-

sively market sports goods,

apparels and footwear. For the

past seven months, Sports365

has been operational in the

business-to-business segment,

physically.“I am a sportsman

Amazon Wishlist Widget

We have seen wishlists in

a website where the cus-

tomers can add the prod-

ucts they wish to buy at a

later point of time. I came

across a new widget from

Amazon which has a new

concept of wishlist widget.

This is a plug in which asks

you to choose the browser

and install there. Now best

part of this widget is, when you

are browsing product informa-

tion on non amazon sites, it

throws up an option to add to

wishlist and that product lands

up in Amazon wishlist.

This wish list can be shared

with friends and family where

they can gift them to the wish-

list holder. Amazing use of this

wishlist is... Read More

Ralph Lauren Corp. growing

annually by 30%, the apparel

manufacturer and retailer has

a big appetite to take on more

international expansion.

Ralph Lauren, No. 69 in the

2012 Internet Retailer Top 500

Austria, Belgium, Canada,

a fast-growing e-commerce

channel, Ralph Lauren in its

2013 fiscal year, which began

April 1, will expand to Japan,

chief operating officer Roger

Farah told Wall Street analysts

this week on the company’s

year-end earnings call.“We will

continue to invest in this high-

growth global channel with

more dedicated marketing,

more sophisticated technology

and more focus on delivering a

best-in-class customer experi-

ence,” Farah told analysts.

“For fiscal 2013, we intend to

launch e-commerce in Japan

in the second half of the year.

We will also be doubling the

Rich Snippets for Ecommerce: Schema.org and GoodRelations

“schema” has been developed

and evangelized by

Schema.org, and GoodRela-
