She is Echo + Air. Echo + Air exists somewhere between the parallel of dreams and reality. It has transpired through the manipulation of shape and form. Echo + Air delicately deconstructs traditional silhouettes, transform-ing them into something beautiful, minimal, and functional. With a strong emphasis on drape and cut, quality fabrics, subtle textures, and modern colors, Echo + Air has imagined and materialized a new atmosphere of thoughtful design. It is clothing that is both conceptu-al and wearable; providing each wearer a unique experience. In the spirit of forward thinking, Echo + Air is a brand that looks to the future. Echo + Air understands the importance of sustaining a local economy. We produce all of our clothing in Los Angeles. Echo + Air came to this world in 2013. It was created by Los Ange-les-based designer, Jordana Howard. Jordana studied fashion at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. As a designer and artist, it has always been imperative for Jordana to create her own world. Combining her love of storytelling and mythol-ogy, her Scandinavian heritage, and a passion for Japanese pattern design, Echo + Air is the material expression of this world.
