Once all necessary fittings and adapters have been arranged properly, this water heater is quite easy to install. To operate, the heater connects to a standard garden hose and 20 pound propane tank. As the water is supplied, its automatic ignition activates heating unit as soon as the water flows through the unit. So, its a water and energy savior product. Simply turn on the tap--the heater produces hot water within seconds--and set the temperature within the range of 80 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit and water pressure ranging withing 20 to 80 PSI at preferred level. starting at a .5 gallons per minute flow rate and going up to 1.4 GPM. After 20 minutes, the water heater shuts off automatically to avoid wastage of water. Automatic ignition by batteries, makes it ideal for use in emergency situations, as well as on camping trips. Most of Eccotemp L5 heaters can be mounted on a wall or can be fitted in a building's structure. Even systems that can't be mounted on walls take up less space.
