1 Locally available raw materials shall not be stored for more than three days.

6 Smart energy conservation equipment’s (like LED/solar light) shall be installed in the factory and premises.

LED light are provided at 79 locations (almost all the site) and around 392 Nos. of LED fittings installed.

7 PP shall meet part of lighting requirement from solar power/renewable energy sources.

Identified the area and requirements. Proposal received and under finalization. We will work out and it will be installing after rainy season.

8 Hazardous Waste shall be handled and disposed as per the provisions of the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 and necessary permissions shall be obtained under the said rules.

Consent to Operate [CTO] No. Format 1.0/BO/AST/UAN NO.0000031386/R/CC-1803000718 dtd.14.3.2018 Obtained from MPCB and which is valid up to 28.02.2024.

Hazardous waste disposed as per Consent norms. Refer Annexure 8 for Annual Hazardous Waste Return.

9 The by-products which fall under the Hazardous Waste Rules, be handled as per the provisions of the said Rules and necessary permissions shall be obtained under the said rules.

Noted. Presently not applicable, whenever required will be complying.

10 Solid Waste shall be handled as per the provisions of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 and necessary permissions shall be obtained under the said rules.

Consent to Operate [CTO] No. Format 1.0/BO/AST/UAN NO.0000031386/R/CC-1803000718 dtd.14.3.2018) from MPCB obtained and as per consent conditions solid waste sold to MPCB Authorized vendor.

11 Unit shall have an environment management cell with full-fledged laboratory and an Environmental Manager having post graduate/graduate qualification in Environmental Sciences/Environmental Engineering.

12 Enterprises Social Commitment (ESC) plan shall be implemented with at least 5 % of the expansion cost. Drinking water facility (RO plant with modern facilities like activated carbon, chlorination etc.) shall be provided to the nearby villages. In addition, education scholarship of Rs. 1000/month shall be given to school girls (of the BPL families). The scholarship shall be distributed through schools only.

1. Identified nearest school for drinking water requirement and RO plant under procurement & will be installing soon. 2. Also identified 3 School Girls of the BPL Family for Monthly Scholarship of each Rs.1000.

2. Generic Conditions

1 The project authorities must strictly adhere to the stipulation made by the State Government, Central Pollution Control Board, State Pollution Control Board & Any other statutory Authority.

2 No further expansion OR Modifications in the plant shall be carried out without prior approval of the Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change. In case of deviations or alteration in the project proposals from those submitted to this Ministry for clearance, a fresh reference shall be made to the ministry to access the adequacy of condition imposed & to add additional environmental protection measures required, if any.

Utilized existing MIDC approved land. Total Plot Area= 13109 sq. mtr.

3 The locations of ambient air quality monitoring stations shall be decided in consultation with State Pollution Control Board(SPCB) & it shall be ensure that at least one station each is installed in the up wind & down wind direction as well as were maximum ground level concentrations are anticipated.

4 The National Ambient Air Quality Emission Standards issued by the Ministry vide G.S.R. No 826 [E] dtd.16th November, 2009 shall be followed.

AAQE standards compliance made and monitoring done Quarterly the average values of AAQ are mentioned below. SPM- 47.91 ppm SO2-9.98 ppm

5 The Overall noise levels in & around the plant area shall be kept well within the standards by providing noise control measures including acoustic hoods, silencers, enclosures etc. on all sources of noise generation. The ambient noise level shall conform to the standards prescribed under Environment [Protection] Act,1986 Rules,1989 viz.75 dBA[day time] & 70 dbA [night time]

Identified high noise area of boiler & DG, Acoustic enclosure provided to DG sets, silencer provided at high noise equipment’s, displayed signage and provided /made mandatory to use ear muff and plug to employee working in high noise area. Monitoring done Quarterly and observed average value 67.28 dB(A) day time and 65.30 B(A) Night time

6 The company shall harvest rain water from roof tops of the buildings & storm water drains to recharge the ground water & use the same water for the process activities of the project to conserve fresh water.

7 Training shall be imparted to all employees on safety & health aspects of chemicals handling. Pre-employment & routine periodical medical examinations for all employees shall be undertaken on regular basis. Training to all employees on handling of chemicals shall be imparted.

1. Daily safety tool box conducting at shop floor, safety trainings conducting as per plan in order to update the knowledge of employee and to make safe practices. About 8220 man-hours are covered under SHE trainings and various topic like SHE Aspects of Chemical Handling, chemical emergency handling, firefighting, First Aid treatment, Chemical compatibility, process safety management etc. 2. Ensuring pre-employment medical examinations and based on fitness certificate selecting employee. Periodic medical checkup conducting for annual basis for all employees and six monthly for employee working in hazardous chemical area. Last periodic medical checkup conducted in the month of Jan.2019

8 The company shall also comply with all the Environmental Protection measures & safe guards proposed in the documents submitted to the Ministry. All the recommendations made in the EIA/EMP in respect of Environmental Management & Risk Mitigations relating to projects shall be implemented.

We have provided certain safety measures as;

All Electrical Fittings – FLP confirming to Class C

Hydrogen & Hydrocarbon Gas Detectors provided at Cascade, trolley shed.

Operations are controlled through DCS- with inbuilt safety interlocks.

Flame Detectors – installed near the hydrogen vent, also Nitrogen & steam snuffing arrangement made near flame arrestor.

Safety Relive valve, Rupture Disk, Breather Valve provided at respective tanks and reactors.

Pressure Reducing stations – with periodical checks

9 The company shall undertake all relevant measures for improving the socio-economic conditions of the surrounding area. ESC activities shall be undertaken by involving local villages & administration.

Efforts taken under CSR activities in order to improve socio-economic conditions of the surrounding area. Some of the activities listed below; Mobile health center, Integrated child development, tree plantation, drinking water facility etc.

10 The company shall undertake eco-developmental measures including community welfare measures in the project area for the overall improvement of the environment.

11 The company shall earmark sufficient fund towards capital cost & recurring cost per annum to implement the conditions stipulated by Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change as well as the State Government along with the implementation schedule for all the conditions stipulated herein. The funds so earmarked for environmental management/pollution control measures shall not be diverted for any other purpose.

Cost provision made for EC condition compliance and dedicate budget provide for environmental management/pollution control measures.

12 A copy of the clearance letter shall be send by the project proponent to the concerned Panchayat, Zilla Parishad/ Municipal Corporation. Urban Local Body & the local NGO, if any, from whom suggestions /representations, if any, were received while processing the proposals.

13 Project proponents shall also submit six monthly reports on the status of compliance of the stipulated Environmental Clearance conditions including results of monitored data [both in Hard Copies as well as by Email to the respective Regional Office of MoEF & CC, the respective Zonal Office of CPCB & SPCB. A copy of Environmental Clearance & six monthly compliance Status report shall be posted on the website of the company.

Previous EC compliance report submitted on 03.12.2018.

14 The environmental statement for each financial year ending 31st March in Form-V as is mandated shall be submitted to the concerned State Pollution Control Board as prescribed under the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986 as amended subsequently, shall also be put on the website of the company along with the status of compliance of environmental clearance conditions & shall also be sent to the respective Regional Offices of MoEF & CC by e-mail.

Environmental Statement in Form- V for year 2017-18 submitted on 29.09.18.

15 The project proponent shall inform the public that the project has been accorded environmental clearance by the Ministry & copies of the clearance letter are available with the SPCB/Committee & may also be seen at website of the Ministry at htt://moef.nic.in. This shall be advertise within 7 days from the date of issue of the clearance letter, at least into local newspaper that are widely circulated in the region of which one shall be in the vernacular language of the locality concern & copy of the same shall be forwarded to concern regional office of the ministry.

16 The project authorities shall inform the Regional Office as well as the Ministry, the date of financial closure & final approval of the project by the concerned authorities & the date of start of the project.
