Mr. Cooper was born April 12, 1915 in Christmasville to the late Calvin Jackson and Pearl Mae Lewis Cooper. He was a carpenter, farmer and retiree from the Milan Arsenal Ammunition Plant, member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, a World War II U.S. Navy veterans, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Effie Genella Pratt Cooper, who died August 30, 2005; five sisters and four brothers. MCKENZIE: Lewis Ben Cooper, 96, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were Thursday, March 31, at 11 a.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Joyner officiating. Burial followed with U.S. Navy Funeral Honors at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near Christmasville.

Mr. Baker was born October 22, 1954 in Bruceton to the late Junior Baker and Nina Ruth Henry Baker. He was a retired maintenance worker for Vulcan in Holladay and Pentecostal in faith.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny Baker, Donnie Baker and Todd Baker.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Williams of Bruceton; one son, Matt Baker of Bruceton; one sister, Lisa Baker of Holladay; and two grandchildren.

JEANNINE EASON MANERS1930-2011

CLARKSVILLE: Jeannine Eason Maners, 80, formerly of Bruceton, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 after a brief illness. A celebration of life is Wednesday, April 6, at 10 a.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Chapel with Dr. LeNoir Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in Bruceton with Daniel Patterson a n d D r. L e N o i r C u l b e r t s o n officiating.

Mrs. Maners was born April 21, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to the late James and Kathleen Sills Eason. She grew up in Vale and later attended and graduated from Central High School in Bruceton. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church and former member at Wesley United Methodist Church in Tupelo, Mississippi for over 30 years.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Hall; and brothers, Bobby, James and Baxter Eason.

Survivors include: her husband of 63 years, Bil l Maners of Clarksville; one son, Steve (Lynn)

Maners of Tupelo, Mississippi; one daughter, Kathy (Dave) Patterson of Clarksville; one brother, Martin (JoAnn) Eason of Bruceton; one sister, Barbara (Bucky) Wiles of LaVale, Maryland; and six grandchildren.
