Kewatec Easy 7.1 Offshore is part of the new generation of light research and survey vessels. Based on the hull of the Easy‐series, but the Offshore‐model is tailor‐made to suit its new missions. The most important change compared to the baseline Easy 7.1 is that the Offshore is certified for the Finnish interior traffic area III, meaning that the boat can safely operate on the open sea as long as it does not undertake international journeys. The cargo carrying capacity is also increased, and the general layout of the boat has been altered. Now six persons can be seated aft of the steering module, with a canvas roof providing some measure of protection from the elements. A further two persons can be seated on two small benches in the fore part of the boat.

EASY 8.1 The bow door is a standard accessory of all Easy models and makes loading a lot easier. It also makes it possible for disabled persons or persons in wheelchairs to get easily on and off the boat. This boat model is also suitable for sports fishermen and fishermen using lures, contractors working in the archipelago, associations and divers.
